Last year Eco Outdoor were thrilled to co-host the renowned Glenn Murcutt International Masterclass at our Waterloo showroom. This year, we’re happy to support another Oz.e.tecture event: Deerubbin Weekend 2018 held at Milson Island, Hawkesbury River.

The March conference is a weekend of “good people and good architecture – all together”. What stands out about Oz.e.tecture events is the personal nature. Participants are encouraged to get up close and personal with the speakers, share ideas and mingle with their fellow colleagues.

This year’s weekend conference is set to be informative and enjoyable with a list of incredible speakers, including:

  • Uncle Max Dulumunmun Harrison – A Yuin elder and previous guest of the Glenn Murcutt Master Classes.
  • Peter Clegg – Architect and director of the UK practice Feilden Glegg Bradley Studio.
  • Professor Hans Narve Skotte – Professor at the Department of Urban Design and Planning at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
  •  Roderick Simpson – Architect and director of the Architecture and Urban design firm Simpson + Wilson in Sydney.
  • Professor Kerry Clare – Architect and director of Clare Design in Sydney and Queensland.
  • James Legge – Architect and director of Six Degrees Architects in Melbourne.
  • Adam Haddow – Architect, urban designer and architect of SJB Architects, Melbourne and Sydney.
  • Olivia Hyde – Associate Government Architect NSW and Director of Design Excellence.
  • Jon Jacka – Sydney based architect at Jon Jacka.
  • Katelin Butler – Editor of ‘Houses’ Magazine.
  • Bobbie Bailey and Owen Kell – From the University of Newcastle.
