Ross Uebergang and his Melbourne-based landscape team have recently won silver in the Japan Gardening World Cup for their ‘Tea Garden’ display.
One of two Australian entrants, Ross U Design, created a show garden which involved an infusion of styles from the subcontinent, indigenous Australia and Japan.
The Tea Garden forms a place to stop and recapture the sounds of a slower life more in-tune with nature; producing a landscape made to be enjoyed.
We were happily involved in the design of the garden, providing the stone ready for the garden to be assembled onsite in Japan.
The design is laden with industrial tones in the built forms that are devoid of colour, which is a real contrast to the rich green shades of the plants that surround them.
Congratulations to Ross and his team at Ross U Design!
