Utopia Landscape Design
The garden and outdoor space, designed by Utopia Landscape Design and built by Landscape Surrounds is a hidden gem. Tucked away behind a boundary wall Aaron from Utopia has created a truly enchanted space.
Drawing inspiration from the strong architectural lines and forms of the new build, Aaron has simultaneously worked with the building’s aesthetic but also softened its structural form by settling it into the surrounding landscape.
The geometric shape of Bluestone modular paving carries through the sharp lines of the architecture, while the more textured Coolum random ashlar walling provides a material contrast to the crisp building finishes.
The tropical planting acts to soften the space and ties the property into it’s tropical Queensland landscape, with the added bonus that all the plants will strive in the sub-tropical climate. The end result is truly special, a tropical garden paradise for an architecturally striking home.
