What is Bluestone?

Our Bluestone pavers are all volcanic stones that have formed and hardened over millions of years, making them very dense and durable. This allows the natural stone to be used in the most rigorous ways. These include pathways, pool decks, steppers, entrances and bathroom flooring. The stone can cope with temperature changes and has a higher breaking load limit than concrete.

A wide range of formats and applications

Another advantage of our natural bluestone pavers is the many formats, sizes and surface textures they come in. Tiles can be of a small format to a large rectangular size. We also offer a high level of customisation. This includes a wide range of pool coping bullnose, square edge and rebated units.

Think organic bluestone steppers for the pathway to allow planting between the stones, a sawn surface paver externally so that it is non-slip. Then carry through the same size inside in a honed finish tile for a soft feel underfoot. The stone also comes in cobblestones, great for paths and driveways, crazy paving, traditional format wall cladding and more.

Versatile and highly complementary

Bluestone is great for the smallest city terrace or courtyard to the most chic large-scale commercial build. The stone's blue-grey colour tones can suit many design styles, from modern to traditional. It can also work well with other popular materials such as concrete and timber.
