Our Sandstone natural stone pavers and tiles are cut to bring out the natural colour tones and character, making them soft under foot and extremely durable.

A timeless natural stone, sandstone has been used around the globe for centuries, and with particular ties to Australian heritage, sandstone pavers complement both traditional and modern designs.

Eco Outdoor’s Sandstone natural stone pavers and tiles offer a range in colours and textures making them ideal outdoor pavers. The sedimentary layers of sandstone pavers present a unique and varied colour profile which can be very forgiving as the sandstone paver wears and also adds to the individual personality of each paver.

What is Sandstone?
Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of consolidated sand grains (predominantly made from quartz) which have been carried down the river and buried. The sediment gets packed together at a low heat over time and eventually becomes cemented into rock. Because it's formed over time (as layers of sediment are deposited on top of the other), it forms in layers of varying colour, which is why the cut of sandstone is so important in order to emphasise the natural tones and character.
